Happy Thursday!! So this week I’m taking a break from my This Week in My Kitchen post because we’re headed to Oregon today for Hood to Coast. This week was crazy. Like really, it’s been a spaghetti and PB&J kinda week.
SOooooo, I thought since summer is winding down I’d give you a little glimpse into our summer fun with some pictures to commemorate the last few days before school starts for us on Monday. Can’t wait to get back and tell you all about Hood to Coast but until then…here’s a glimpse of life for us the past 3 months. And by the way, I LOVE pictures. This will become evident. However, there were so many(because I know you have hours to spend sitting here looking at pictures of my family) I decided to break this up into two posts. So, half today, half tomorrow. Just to leave you on the edge of your seats. Here we go!
So in May, Jake, our oldest, turned 8. How is this even possible. He’s officially not ordering kids meals or carrying character lunch boxes to school. Insert tears and denial.
we got wood floors!!
um, this was my kitchen
it was fun eating on the floor
and we threw in a new backsplash because my hubby is a mean negotiator
this girl…she LOVED the pool
got to do some for fun racing
this blog was born. I have no idea what God’s going to do with this thing ya’ll. Sometimes you just have to step out into the unknown and the scary and do something crazy and let God do His thing. That’s what I’m doing.
did some pre-studying because August starts my official journey toward this long time goal
we went to the beach with sweet friends
i got a few beach runs in. Um, it’s harder than it looks
I ate this burger….it will forever be etched in my memory.

she has me wrapped around her tiny little fingers
being a girl
we spent a lot of time here..I’m officially tired
and so was Josh….poor buddy. He didn’t get the idea of the neck pillow
Ok ya’ll. That’s the first half of our summer. Lots of traveling and coffee and coffee and coffee. Lots of fun with my kids. Summer is awesome. That is all. Have a great Thursday!!!
